A prominent Georgian townhouse in the heart of Dursley, 26 Long Street is a Grade II listed landmark now being sympathetically transformed into three elegant apartments. This sensitive regeneration project embraces both heritage and practicality—bringing fresh purpose to a disused commercial space while celebrating its architectural character. Great care is being taken to preserve original features, including sash windows, period joinery and decorative cornicing, with ongoing collaboration from the Heritage and Conservation team.

With its high ceilings, generous proportions and central location, the development combines classical elegance with contemporary design in one of Dursley’s most significant streetscapes.

Prinknash Bird & Deer Park Gloucestershire

This building received full planning consent in 2014 and was completed and opened to the public in December 2015. Located on a challenging rural site with Tree Preservation Orders and steep topography, construction required 76 structural piles due to complex subsoil conditions. The build spanned 14 months and involved the installation of new utility services and road alterations.

Prinknash Bird & Deer Park

Set within the curtilage of a Grade II listed property, the development faced further planning constraints, including the presence of protected Horseshoe bats and other environmental considerations.

Constructed from Prime Oak, the building includes a lower storey with office space, staff facilities, storage, and dedicated animal welfare areas.

The upper level consists of a stunning visitor centre with panoramic views over the surrounding parkland, a café, toilets, and a large reception area — providing a welcoming and functional space for guests to enjoy the natural setting.
