James Meigh
Creative Consultant
Invited by Julian Dunkerton to join the core Superdry team as Creative Head, I established the brand’s first in-house creative media team, building and developing the photography studios, e-commerce content function, and marketing department while working closely with PR. I supported the company’s growth across global campaigns, wholesale assets, brand protection, and store design, contributing to its successful flotation on the London Stock Exchange in 2010 and its continued expansion thereafter. Before Superdry, I was invited by Michael Casley-Hayford to help establish a film and production facility in Sub-Saharan Africa, based in Ghana. As part of Icon Communications, I produced documentaries and creative assets for foreign investors and government-led projects, supporting local development across construction and mobile technology initiatives. Clients included the World Bank, ODA, British Airways, Taylor Woodrow, and Mobitel.
